Creating and Printing Reports using the Report Viewer
     
1. Click the "Reports" item on the main menu located on the top of the JCalendar screen.
2. You will see the Report list display as a dropdown menu. See illustration below.
 
3. Next, select the report you would like to view.
4. A new window will be displayed with the predefined information; i.e., resource, dates, etc. You can change these settings to generate a different report.
    a.  The first dropdown menu will determine the type of Report you view. You can select either “Availability Summary”, “Case Notes Summary”, “Case Request List”, “Daily Calendar”, “Daily Calendar (Chronological)”, “Docket Summary”, “Event Availability Summary”, “Event Labels”, or "Appointment Audit".
    b.  The next dropdown menu will determine which Resource’s Appointments you are viewing. Select your resource.
    c.  The third dropdown menu will filter your results based on “Admin(s)”, “Attorney(s)”, “Global Events”, “Inactive(s)”, or “Judge(s)”. This feature is optional.
    d.  Report Options Section
-Select a range for this report by entering a “Start Date” and an “End Date”.
-Next, determine if you want to “Group by Resource”, “Group by Date/Time”, or “Sort by Case Number”.
-Now, choose to “Hide Canceled”, “Hide Completed” or “Include Notes”. You do not have to select any of these, or you can select them all, whatever is your preference.
5. Now that you have made all of your selections, click the “Create” button.
6. Once your report has loaded, you can scroll through the report to preview. You can adjust the zoom on the report by selecting a percent value in the dropdown box.
7. If you wish to export this report into another program, select one of the file types from the dropdown box that says "Export to the Selected Format": you can choose from “Tiff”, “Acrobat (PDF)”, “Rich Text format”, “Web Archive”, “Excel”, “CSV (Comma Delimited)”.  Once you have selected an “Export Format”, click “Export”. A  “File Download” window will pop up.  Select whether you want to “Open” the document or “Save” the document.
8. If you have changed the report criteria, at the JCalendar Report Viewer window, you can click “Refresh”, located next to the printer icon, to update the page information.
9. You can click “Print” if you wish to print the report.
10. You can “Email Report” by clicking on the mail icon located to the right of the “Create” button.  In order for the report to be emailed, you must provide a "Subject".
